In Sprunki Nona-Shifted (Abdul's Take), the lighthearted music box formula is completely submerged in an apocalyptic horror narrative centered on betrayal, mutation, and survival.

The dark trajectory of this universe stems from a tragic sequence of events inside a research facility. Driven by jealousy and hidden motives, Garnold hired Raddy and Durple to sabotage the life work of Owakcx, a brilliant but fragile scientist. The loss of his research shattered Owakcx's sanity. Driven to exact revenge, Owakcx stole the powers of an entity named Mr. Black—erasing Mr. Black's memories in the process—and developed an infectious serum. Armed with this creation, Owakcx transformed the populace into mind-controlled servants, flesh-craving beasts, or traumatized survivors.

Every audio loop on the stage reflects this narrative decay. Upbeat rhythms are replaced by heavy distorted industrial beats, mechanical grinding, eerie synth motifs, and distressed, glitching vocals. Characters carry explicit visual and musical markers of their state: Owakcx commands dominant bass loops; Gray acts as a mind-controlled assassin; Clukr wears a mechanical suit built to fulfill horrific cravings; Fun Bot hides in the forest guarding the damaged MFC; and Tunner takes up arms to search for survivors.
