A silent lineup of blank avatars stands on a stage bathed in neon light and flickering glitch effects. When you drag an icon onto them, they do not merely sing—they transform into distorted, mirrored versions of themselves, their voices warped by reverse audio and abnormal beats. This is the disorienting world of Sprunki Special Shifted, a parallel universe where the familiar cast has had their identities completely rearranged.

The core premise of this mod revolves around a "shifted" reality. Based on an alternate universe concept originally created by Antuneter, every character's fate and musical role has been shifted one icon to the left. This identity swap creates a surreal, uncanny experience for players familiar with the original lineup. This parallel universe concept, which also inspires other community retakes like Sprunki Shifted Sporkys Take, turns traditional music mixing into an experimental puzzle of swapped roles and inverted sounds.

As you build your mix, you can layer up to seven characters simultaneously to create complex, multi-layered loops. The experience features two distinct states: a distorted Normal Phase and a deeply unsettling Horror Phase. In the Horror Phase, the characters find themselves trapped in their swapped bodies, unleashing dark soundscapes, backmasking, and glitchy transitions that redefine the atmosphere of your track.

This version, Sprunki Special Shifted V1.0, was developed by @ThunderFox, who gives special thanks to @Hatamoti_i for the original Sprunki - Special Shifted project. This release remakes several key sounds and includes all non-bonus characters with their complete, shifted soundsets. This community-submitted mod is now fully playable on Sprunki.cool, offering a hauntingly beautiful experience for players who enjoy glitch aesthetics, eerie audio experimentation, and a fresh twist on familiar faces.
